Our growth groups are similar to support groups. It is an environment for feelings of togetherness, mutual respect, love and support. However healing takes growing and making changes in one’s life. This includes both thinking (thought processes) and behavior. Our groups will challenge one another on the above, as well as in taking risks, working and moving toward goals, being accountable, and growing deeper in Intimacy with Christ.

New Men's Monday Evening Growth Groups Starting on February 8th, 2010
from 7 pm - 9 pm. Teachings are offered surrounding pertinant issues to healing from homosexuality and sexual brokenness. We have small groups for different seasons in life. For more information contact Jim Katsoudas. Growth Groups at Clean Heart Ministries operate on a 12 week basis.

Who are the growth groups for?  Growth groups are for those who have decided that homosexuality and sexual brokenness are no longer compatible for their life; they are ready to make a serious commitment for their healing; they are ready to embark on a journey of healing and transformation.  It is for men who have spent some time in individual counseling that has helped them address some of the root causes of their homosexuality and relational brokenness. 

How can I become part of a growth group? Before anyone is allowed to be in a growth group they must meet the following criteria:
1. They have met with a Clean Heart Representative for four weeks of counseling. After the four weeks they have been given approval to attend a growth group. If you previously have met when a Clean Heart Representative and attended a group or ministry program from Clean Heart you do not need to meet with a Representative over the four weeks. However you must fill out a Growth Group Commitment form and submit it to Clean Heart Ministries. You may be ask to come in to meet with the group leader and the Executive Director
2. They have filled out and completed a Growth Group Commitment form and paid a deposit to hold their space in the group.
3. They have gotten the necessary approval form from their Professional Counselor. This applies to those who have been receiving ongoing counseling from someone other than a staff member or volunteer from Clean Heart Ministries  

If I commit to attend a growth group but find that I cannot continue to come to the meetings, can I be refunded what I have paid? You have until the second week to cancel your place in the group after the second week we cannot refund money for this.  

After I have attended 12 weeks of a Growth Group am I obligated to come to another 12       week Growth Group session? No. Coming and committing to a Growth Group is your choice. If you feel that you would like to continue on in another 12 week session to receive further help and assistance in your journey of healing you may do so.  

What is expected from me to attend a growth/support group from Clean Heart?
1. You are willing to make a commitment to attend each 12 week session without missing msks.
2. You will be on time for each meeting.
3. You are willing to commit to the guidelines of the growth/group and Clean Heart Ministries.
4. You have a willingness and desire to change and move beyond your brokenness.
5. You are teachable and have a spirit of humility and honesty.
6. You will commit to paying for the 12 weeks you are in a group.  

The suggested donation for the Growth Group is $200.00 for the 12 week period (about $16 per week) and is to be paid in full by the second week. *Please Note: Clean Heart Ministries never turns anyone away based on their inability to make the specified donation.
